Real men don’t live in such a state of fear they need an arsenal in the basement. Only cowards do….
TIME TO LOOK in the mirror and face up to who and what you are, Bubba, you and all your inked-up, shaved head Proud Boy real-men wannabes.
As we wade through the heartache of yet another mass shooting, it becomes obvious who is to blame and we are past the point where we can sugar-coat what we are seeing. Time for some straight talk, Bubba.
You are to blame, Bubba. You and all your pals who, right up to the politicans and Supreme Court; all you who have misinterpreted the Second Amendment and transported yourself to an unreal world where only cowards dwell – you all are to blame for the deaths, funerals, lives destroyed.
Look in the mirror, Bubba. See if you can see the blood of those two little children in Minneapolis dripping down your face.
It’s time to call you what you are – a pathetic coward. It’s time to tell you where you don’t belong – in any civilized society that has even a bit of heart and soul left.
You keep telling us, Bubba, that you need to have all your guns because there is this tyrannical government out there ready to walk down your street and kick in your door. Only you and your buddies, proud boys all, will stand between freedom and tyranny.
Except, that’s not quite right, is it Bubba? You and your buddies, who are lining up to serve in ICE now that there are no requirements for service, are becoming those tyrants ready to march down our streets. You have become who you have always claimed you needed your gun to protest against.
I don’t expect you to see the irony in that, Bubba, because it requires a level of thought you don’t have. Can you even begin to comprehend the sickness in a thought process that claims life begins at conception and has to be protected at all costs but the ending of lives is OK put against loss of “gun rights.” Can you even begin to understand just how sorry it is that guns in this country outnumber people?
Here is who you are Bubba. You are a “man” who believes your right to live in your fantasy world, to own unlimited guns and ammo comes before the right of wee children to be safe in school; for parishioners to be safe in school’ for your neighbors to go to the grocery or mall without fear of losing their lives. Fact is, Bubba, you don’t give a damn now many people so long as you and all your little-pecker friends can own your guns and keep telling each other what brave defenders of liberty you are.
You are not a man, Bubba. Not in any real and meaningful way. Real men care about others. Real men understand violence is a last resort. Real men understand that death and loss are real and they do what they can to protect others from it. Real men understand that being a member of a community means sometimes putting your own wants and desires in second place. Real men understand that all the children of the universe have a right to liberty, pursuit of happiness and going to the store without getting gunned down. Real men don’t live in such fear that they need and arsenal in the basement.

Real men get what gun control is all about, Bubba. I used to own guns. I grew up in rural America. I jack lighted rats at the town dump with a .22. I hunted. I even taught an NRA-sanctioned gun safety and shooting course. That was back before the NRA got hi-jacked by the dark side of the universe.
THERE IS NOT a gun law I have seen, including those of other nations, that would keep me from owning a gun to take to the range or into the woods; even to protect my home. So, we enact a law that limits the number of bullets I can have. How many do I need to protect my home from invasion, Bubba? If it’s more than a handful then I’m a piss-poor shot and probably shouldn’t own a gun.
So, just to sum up, Bubba. I have no use for you. You are a lost cause. You have stepped outside the bounds of humanity and each time an innocent life is taken because its owner dared to go to school or church or to the store, you pulled the trigger. You and all your cowardly lot, who mostly are all talk and no go, you all are guilty and sending your thoughts and prayers won’t un-pull that trigger.
Hope I’ve made myself clear, Bubba. You are a coward, and complicit in the murder of innocents. No more trying to understand you or hoping you will come around. You are what you are and the politicians who line up with you are not one lick better – offering up “thoughts and prayers” for those they helped kill debases the very essence of both thought and prayer.
